Knitting 101 - This group class is for the beginner and beyond.

This is a self directed class so you choose what you want to learn and work on. Knitters choice!  We can help you navigate your first scarf to your first sweater and beyond! Many participants are experienced knitters who are working on improving their skills. Join the fun!

Materials: Projects for class must be made with yarn purchased at our shop.  For the novice, one skein worsted weight yarn, US 7 or 8 knitting needles, tapestry needle and locking stitch markers. 

* Students must be at least 17 years of age.

Please call the shop with any questions regarding dates. We sometimes have drop-in options on certain days.

Sample projects: 

-Easiest Handwarmers Ever. An in-house pattern. We like to start novice knitters with this simple introductory pattern.

-Wildfiber Cowl. A simple 2x2 ribbed cowl. Great for your first ribbing project.

-The Drop in Dream Sweater by Julia Piro. This is great for the first time sweater knitter. Pattern available on Ravelry via this LINK.

Novice Knitters - We have a class just for you. Sign-up for our Absolute Beginner Learn To Knit Class.   CLICK HERE TO ENROLL.   The Absolute Beginner class is a great introduction to knitting where you'll get started with the knit stitch using bulky yarn and make your first scarf.
