*Totally Tubular Sock Tube Appointment or Drop-Off

Turn your Sock Yarn into a sock tube in 30 minutes!

Elba and Juanita (her trusty sock knitting machine) will be here on  Saturday, August 8, 10:30am-4:00pm cranking out sock tubes. What’s a sock tube you ask? It’s a knitted tube that is hand cranked on a circular sock knitting machine (CSM). 

With one tube, you can make a pair of 7" leg socks or two pair of ankle socks. The tube can then be converted into socks by *adding heels, toes & cuffs. Here's helpful YouTube video  demonstrating this.

You'll need 50 grams of yarn to add heels, toes and ribbing. 

The fee is $20 per tube plus the cost of the yarn. The yarn must be purchased at Wildfiber Studio.

Reserve an appointment here. Elba can make one sock tube per appointment time. 

Your sock tube will be complete in 30mins. Please arrive 15-20 mins before your time slot to purchase your yarn and to give Elba time to prep the yarn for the machine.

OR - You can DROP OFF your skein of yarn and Elba will mail back your completed sock tube. Choose a time slot or Drop Off option.
