Weave a Clasped Weft Scarf

Class Level: Advanced Beginner
Description: Learn to make a stunning scarf in clasped weft method on a rigid heddle loom.  You can learn to create a wonderful woven piece that looks complicated but is really very easy.  If you’ve taken beginning rigid heddle weaving, enhance your skills.  This type of weaving is portable, easy and fun!
Supplies to bring:  10 - 15 yards waste yarn (acrylic worsted weight works great), scissors, tapestry needle, 2 brown paper grocery bags.  
Supplies to purchase at Wildfiber Studio: 200 yards of a smooth, solid color worsted weight yarn for the warp and 300 yards each of two contrasting hand dyed fingering weight yarns for the weft.
Supplies provided in class: You will use a Cricket Loom (or bring your own loom) in class. Following class, looms are available to rent or purchase.

Class Fee: $150 plus materials. A light lunch is included.
