*Sweater Club #15 June/July

Join our Sweater Club #15 now! Our knitalongs meetup in person and gives everyone the encouragement to knit a sweater.

How this works -

1) You choose which of the designs you want to knit: Summer Sorrel, Sommerknus, Summer, Lisa summer Sweater

2) Sign-up here or in the shop. There is no cost to join.

3) Purchase your yarn at our shop

4) join our weekly meetups for the community and knitting help along the way. We meet Sundays, 11am-12noon June 5-July 10.

Summer Sorrel-  Summer Sorrel is a charming short-sleeved tee for effortless everyday wear. Summer Sorrel has a flattering wide-neck featuring a beautiful I-cord collar, deeper dips, short rows at the back of the neckline for a comfortable fit and a loose casual drape using one-strand of fingering weight yarn. Construction: Knit seamlessly top-down in the round, the body of the tee is worked inside out for the ease of working in knitted stockinette stitch rather than purling!

Sommerknus-  Sommerknus is a round yoke sweater worked from the top down with the possibility to adjust the length of the sleeves (short, ¾ or long sleeves) and the body. The blouse/sweater has an all-over textured pattern.

Summer-  Summer is worked seamlessly from the top down. After the neck is shaped with short rows you work the dropped saddle shoulder with increases along the shoulder markers. Then you work the back and front separately for the length of the armhole. Join front and back and work the body in rounds down to the bottom ribbing. After the body is completed, you finish the neckline and sleeve ribbing.

Lisa Summer Sweater-  Lisa Summer Sweater is worked sideways in two parts, each part consisting of half of the front and half of the back part. The two parts are joined in the centre using the flat zipper slipstitch seaming method. Trendy and cropped design. The sweater can very easily be made longer. (this will require more yarn). The stretchy refined stitchwork is created by using third loops stitches. Therefor the skill level is intermediate to advanced.
