Join our Sweater Club #24 now! Our knitalongs meet-up in person and give everyone the encouragement to knit a sweater. We're here to help you along the way.
How this works
1) You choose which of the designs you want to make from our pre-selected list.
When selecting the designs for Sweater Club, we consider knitting trends, techniques used, designer creativity, pattern reliability, and size inclusivity (bust 30" to at least 60"). We feel that the designs we pre-select are sure to please a wide range of people.
2) Sign-up here (select the design option) or in the shop. There is no cost to join.
3) Purchase your yarn at our shop in order to participate.
4) Purchase your pattern on Ravelry or through our shop.
5) Join our weekly meet-ups for the community and knitting help along the way.
Meet-ups: Sundays 11am-12noon; beginning Aug 25 and continuing each week through Sept 29. Meet-ups are optional so come when you can.
We have open stitch nights every Wednesday from 5pm-7pm. That's also a good time to drop in for help with your sweater.
For Sweater Club #24 - We found these easy yet stylish garments.
If you like cardigans and don’t like purling, you will love this garter stitch cardigan! It is worked almost seamlessly from the top down. It is mostly made with knit stitch. The rolled front band is worked at the same time as the cardigan, making it easy to adjust the length. The shoulders are shaped to make sure that the cardigan hangs well.
Moonlight Cardigan is graded with inclusive sizing in mind, designed to fit actual bust sizes from 76 cm / 30 inches to 168 cm / 66 inches. Measurements are given in both cm and inches. This garment is intended to be worn with about 20-25.5 cm / 7.75-10 inches positive ease. DK weight yarn.
This seamless tee knitting pattern begins at the neck and is worked down. Easy eyelet stitches shape the yoke and add decoration to the neckline at the same time. Very customizable hem. Neck and lower edges are shaped using short rows. This garment was designed with approximately 1-4" of ease. Dk weight yarn.
Crochet this simple T-shaped beachy top with the most basic stitches and comfortable drape. All you do is make two panels and sew them together, so easy! Cotton blend yarn would be a great choice as it's light and breezy in the summer and this sweater will be the one you grab all season long.
Pattern includes sizes XS-3XL.
This is an easy level crochet pattern (and is very doable for an enthusiastic beginner!), and the techniques you will need to know are half double crochet, chain stitch, seaming panels together, and slip stitch.
-- Yarn Suggestions - we have a beautiful selection of Dk weight yarns in our shop for you to choose from.
Read your pattern, determine your size and most importantly make a gauge swatch. Then come to our meetups.
