Winters Beach Cardi: Winters Beach is worn open and is the perfect layering sweater - complete with pockets, of course. This sweater is knit from bottom up to the shoulders, then sleeves are picked up around the armholes and knit down. Pockets are placed while knitting the body of the sweater and finished at the end. Andrea Mowry's design of a cozy cable cardi is just great. Needle size suggestion are US 6 and 8. Yarn Suggestions: Queensland Collection Kathmandu DK 100 and Blue Sky Woolstok.
1908: Thea Coleman's cable top is a versatile pullover that works equally well as a vest, a tee, or a long sleeve sweater. It pairs some eye-catching texture with gorgeous, vibrant color in a classic silhouette. The cables on this sweater are easily memorized and fun to work.
As always, Thea incorporates small details throughout the design to keep it fun and all of the transitions are intentional. The hem goes from ribbing into cables with a beautiful curve, the armhole shaping leaves you with a neatly finished edging, and the sides of the body are designed to allow for modifications for fit, should you desire. Needle size suggestions are US 6 and 7. Yarn Suggestions: Blue Sky Woolstok, Juniper Moon Moonshine, and Berroco Vintage.
