We're kicking off our 2021 Sweater Club with three selections!
Amali Sweater - Amali combines the designer's absolute favorite ingredients: a boxy shape, a boat neck and 7/8 sleeves. Comfortable, it features just enough details and texture to make it delicate and original, it matches with any outfits.
Knit top down with short-rows to build the shoulder line, the shape is straight and loose, and it has a rounded bottom shape. The sleeves are elegant with a delicate cable pattern. The interesting construction will keep confident knitters engaged. Knit with Sport Weight yarn (sport with mohair lace) on US 5 needles.
Ochre Cardigan - Knit yourself a lightweight cardigan with chevron lace detailing and add an indispensable layering piece to your wardrobe. Worked in linen yarn, Ochre cardigan is a wonderful summer garment. Or use wool to knit up your Ochre Cardigan for a cozier version to add a layer of stylish warmth when required. Enjoy this timeless classic, a garment you’ll be reaching for regularly over the years to come. Knit top-down with simple raglan shaping, the body and sleeve lengths are easily adjusted to suit your preference. The lace is both written and charted for ease. Knit with fingering weight yarn on US 4 needles. Linen, cotton or wool are all good choices. Suitable for confident beginner knitters and above.
Vine Cardigan - this yoke style cardigan is knit top down and includes short row shaping to raise up the back neck. Don't be afraid of the colorwork here. It's done with easy slip stitches and only one color in use per row. Knitters on Ravelry have commented on the well written, easy instructions. Please note, this design is sized 36"-42" and should be worn with a minimum 2" of ease. Knit with DK yarn and US 6 needles.
